2011 Audi A7 Part of a Larger Scheme;



The 2011 Audi A7 has had more and more information coming out about it, and it looks to be an exciting model in a whole new series that Audi plans on revealing over the next few years. The 2011 Audi A7 is one model in a series of 17 brand new models that are going to be released by Audi. The German automaker intends on increasing its total number of model offerings from 23 to 40. The new models will include coupes, sedans, SUVs, and more. The Audi A7 is anticipated to hit markets in early 2011.

The Audi A7 is a four door coupe which is a kind of hybrid coupe-sedan. There will be several powertrain offerings for the A7 and its counterpart S7 and RS7 models including electric hybrids, V10s, V6s, and more. The A7 is powered by V-6 engines.

The lowest end A7 model features a 2.8 liter 204 horsepower V-6 engine. The next one up features a 3.0 liter 300 horsepower supercharged V-6 engine. The S7 features a 4.0 liter 394 horsepower V-8 engine. The RS7 will feature a 600 horsepower 5.0 liter twin-turbo V10 engine and is the highest priced offering from the series.

The Audi Quattro all wheel drive will be standard on North American models. The A7 also features air suspension. There will be a 6-speed manual transmission and an 8-speed automatic transmission available. A7 sales are not expected to exceed 40,000 per year. However, the model will be a great continuation in what will be a long series of new and exciting model offerings from Audi in the upcoming future.
