Hyundai Equus is the Company's New Flagship Luxury Sedan

The Hyundai Equus is Hyundai's new flagship luxury sedan that the Korean automaker hopes will take market shares from models like the BMW 5-Series and the Chevy Malibu. Hyundai is one of the top automakers in the world and the company is shown its latest production and manufacturing strengths in the Equus model. Volkswagen has historically produced excellent quality sedans that rank highly in safety and consumer satisfaction, and these mdoels can be seen at VW Arizona Dealers.

Toyota and Honda have their work cut out for them with the newest release from Hyundai. Models like the Camry which can be found at Los Angeles Toyota Dealers are some of the best sedans on the market. But the Equus gets a heads up on even these models with its 4.6 liter V8 engine that has 385 horsepower and a six-speed automatic transmission. Pricing for the Equus is expected to be close to $60,000. This will make it one of the higher priced sedan models on the market.

The model will compete with the BMW 7-Series, Mercedes Benz S-Class, Lexus LS, and other high end models. These models are priced much higher than the $60,000 price tag of the Equus. In order for the Equus to adequately compete with these models, it will need to have some of the same features standard.

It will come with several high tech and luxury features. Electronically controlled air suspension will be one feature. Continuous damping and front and rear parking assist will be available as well. Other features include adaptive headlamps, advanced cruise control, lane departure warning system, heated wood and leather steering wheel, pre collision warning system, and a 608 watt Lexicon stereo system.

The executive class will have additional features like massaging chairs, cooled rear seats that recline, powered headrests, rear refrigeration, a camera system, forward view parking, and cornering camera.
