Toyota's luxury Lexus line can be purchased from San Diego Toyota Dealers as well. The Mercedes S63 AMG has had its engine downsized with the adoption of a twin turbo 5.5 liter V8 engine. The direct injected V8 will put out 571 horsepower and the previous edition of the vehicle had a 517 horsepower engine. It will generate 663 lbs-feet of torque at 2,250 to 3,750 rpm. The vehicle can go from zero to 60 in just 4.5 seconds and 4.4 seconds with the AMG's sport package.
It has a multi-clutch unit instead of its previous torque converter automatic transmission which gives the vehicle a more sports-like feel. Turbo boosted direct injection engines feature improved power as well as fuel efficiency, and the S63 will get 22.4 mpg which is a huge jump from 16.3 mph in the previous edition. EPA testing numbers have not yet been released, however it is clear that the EPAs mpg numbers for the model will be higher than previous years.
The new Mercedes S63 AMG features a sporty body that is similar to the other S class models. The 2011 S63 AMG has the latest features and its new engine have made the model more powerful and more fuel efficient as well. The model will be likely found at a price that is similar in range to the current S class at 192,500 Euros. The S65 AMG is a 12 cylinder model that will be launched in September along with the S63 AMG.
