Volvo will continue to receive help from Ford in till the transition period is over, but after that Volvo will be a imported company. Ford Motor Company says that they have sold Volvo in order to focus more on their own line up of vehicles, and offer better vehicles to the customers. With the money received from the Volvo deal Ford is planing on funneling it back into the company to work on improvements with their vehicles.
Volvo is now owned by a Chinese company, and in doing this Volvo is now a competitor in the imported auto market, but transferring a class has not slowed Volvo down at all. Volvo Motor Company is planning on reaching all time highs with the power and fuel efficiency they are offering.
