Look At Mazda2!

You may be able to find some wonderful cars at Alexandria Honda or Honda Dealer VA, but neither of them carry the new 2011 Mazda2. The Mazda2 was the first vehicle in the United States to carry the new Override System. This system is designed to cut off the throttle if the car's brakes are depressed. This is to prevent the little recall problem Toyota was having.

Other features the Mazda2 are equipped with are anti-lock brakes, and traction control. They also provide the vehicle with front airbags, side airbags for the front seats and side curtain airbags. Like vehicles found at Washington DC Honda, Mazda has also installed the new Electronic Stability System in this vehicle. The Mazda2 received five stars for protecting adults during a collision and four stars for the protection of children.

New York Times stated "The interior is clean and uncluttered." That's good considering it is such a small vehicle but will still seat five. The Mazda2 has a 1.5 liter four cylinder engine that creates 100 horsepower. It also comes standard with a five speed transmission. But if you want to spend about $800 more, then you can have the four speed automatic instead.

Mazda has created two trims for this vehicle. The first would be the Sport Trim. It will include power windows, power locks, a jack for a MP3 player and a four speaker AM/FM/CD/MP3 stereo. The second would be the Touring Trim. It comes with cloth seats, cruise control, six speaker stereo and steering wheel mounted stereo controls. The Sport Trim models will start at $14,730 while the Touring model will start at $16,185.

Both models offer three year/36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty as well as a five year/60,000 mile powertrain warranty. Mazda predicts that the Mazda2 will be able to get 28 miles per gallon in the city and 35 miles per gallon on the highway.

There really isn't anything to exciting about this vehicle except that it has many safety features and nice extras. But the price is right and it would be a great car just to get around town in. As long as your not in to big of a hurry!
