
J.D. Power announced that Daimler AG's Mercedes-Benz brand is now the top preferred brand in Germany. German car owners have reported Mercedes to be the most satisfactory brand for the first time in 8 years. Used Mercedes models can be found at a Bradenton used cars dealer. Volkswagen, a major German competitor can be purchased at a local VW Dealer.
Honda's luxury line that also took a top spot in the study can be purchased at a Trenton Acura dealership. The brand finally ranked in the first spot where in past years either Daihatsu, Toyota, or Honda hs taken the top spot. All three of the previously mentioned brands are Japanese, and the Japanese car market has done quite well in Germany. Mercedes earned 838/1000 points and the rankings were based upon vehicle appeal, vehicle quality, and vehicle reliability.
Mercedes recently made news that the company had been selling more vehicles recently due to better economic growth among luxury demographics and increased demand. Mercedes suffered along with many other luxury automakers over the past few years due to the economic recession.
Other awards that Mercedes won include the top compact executive model, the C-class, and the best sports car, the CLK. Mercedes has historically ranked highly in the poll. Chevrolet ranked number 24 and Fiat ranked number 25 in the poll. Daihatsu was the top automaker in the 2009 poll but was not ranked for 2010 because of having too small of a market in Germany. BMW and Dacia were tied for second in the 2010 poll.
Mercedes will hope to continue to rank in the number one spot for 2011 with several revamped 2011 models that have many luxury vehicle enthusiasts excited for the upcoming year. The 2010 C-class and CLK are two of the top luxury and sports models in the world at the moment.
