Altima Hybrid: Tons of Features!

If you are a lucky green shopper, you might be able to find the new 2010 Nissan Altima Hybrid HEV from Boston Nissan.  This sleek new gas saver is only available in a handful of states: California, Oregon, and then most of the New England States.  We are seeing more of this marketing strategy, where companies will offer their hybrid and alternative fuel source vehicles in states where they will get used the most.  The states that are on the coasts tend to have more commuters who spend hours in bumper to bumper traffic, and city driving is typically where hybrids perform the best.  Rural drivers near Cincinnati Ford Lincoln Mercury typically enjoy smooth sailing highway commutes, not congestion.

With a base price of only $26,780, the Altima Hybrid is far cheaper than any model you will find at Alexandria Mercedes-Benz.  However, Nissan failed to offer individual options and rather packaged them in expensive groupings.  The Convenience Package is $1,300 and gives drivers a power seat that adjusts eight ways, leather on the steering wheel, radio controls on the steering wheel, a rear spoiler, and turn signals on the side mirrors.

The Premium Package is the costly one, with a price tag of $4,230.  Plus, if you want this package you have to get the Convenience Package as well; they are a stepping stone process.  It should be mentioned that the Altima already comes with a lengthy list of standard features including keyless entry and ignition.  But, the Premium package gives you just about every feature your heart desires; leather, heated seats, AC in the back, six CD/MP3 player, satellite radio, USB port and iPod integration, Bluetooth, sunroof, and in-dash rearview monitor.

The last upgrade is the Technology Package, which costs $1,780 plus the other two packages already mentioned.  This will complete your new car with in-dash navigation that has the real-time traffic updates, media storage, Bluetooth audio, and details about your hybrid fuel usage.
