Kia Adds Second Shift to Produce Santa Fe;

Kia has added a second shift for the production of its Santa Fe model. Kia has been selling large quantities of its vehicles throughout the world lately. Kia's latest models can be purchased at many dealerships throughout the country. Competing models can be found at Greensboro Chevrolet Dealer businesses and other dealerships as well.

Peoria VW Dealer businesses sell Volkswagen models that are designed to be fuel efficient and very safe like many Kia models. Kia is a division of Hyundai and combines with Hyundai to be the fifth largest automaker in the world. Kia models are popular and are starting to take popularity from Mercedes models which can be found at Lexington Mercedes-Benz Dealers throughout the country.

Hyundai's plant in Alabama has been working overtime in order to produce the Santa Fe model which has been in extremely high demand over the past few months. Hyundai has had to open more shifts up and hire more workers to meet demand, which is good for both the local and national economy. Many automakers have retained workers or hired workers when other industries have been still laying off workers due to less revenue.

The 2011 Sante Fe will have production begin in September and it will occur before the second shift is activated for the production of the model. The Georgia plant at the moment produces the Kia Sorento SUV but it will also be producing the Sante Fe soon. The Sorento and the Sante Fe have a similar vehicle platform, and the Georgia plant has the capacity to build 300,000 units per year if necessary.

Kia has been trying to take larger market shares for several months, and the company has been doing better in key markets like Europe and several other markets. Kia built an estimated near 70,00 units at the Georgia plant through Saturday the 21st of August and there are plans for much more production in the months ahead.
