Is Your Ferrari A Hot Fire!

Well, look here, it is another recall. Not another one, it seems like all the automakers have some kind of recall at some point. Frustrating and annoying, anticipating if your car will be the next one on the chopping block. And for what, will it be cause it can cause injury or catch on fire? Then that adds on more stipulations of what make I should buy or not buy? Then, is it me, or do engineers not think of these things? Isn't that what they go to school for? Not to lay all the burden on them but when does it stop? Was the older generation better at designing cars? Or is it too much technology and computer components going into the car that engineers are focused on that? Is any dealer worth noting of like that of Cincinnati Ford Dealers?

Some overseas automakers do not have issues like this. Peoria Volkswagen is one of them to prove that. The Ferrari 458 Italia has been recalled. The vehicle catches on fire and over the last past weeks, its been several of them. It caught the eyes of Ferrari when a vehicle in California, Switzerland, Paris and China, all went up in flames. The reason why this sporty, stylish vehicle catches on fire is due to the adhesive that is used in the wheel arch assembly. When the adhesive overheats it can ignite. To me, Ferrari's are meant to be fast machines. Accelerating to get to the speed you want takes energy that causes heat. Common sense, even for a woman like me and yes I am Italian too.

One thing that Ferrari is doing that I can honestly say I have not seen anywhere else is, if your precious car caught on fire, they will give you a brand new one. Finally, a manufacturer that really says, "No, we will make it right." If you have one of these 458's and purchased it before July 10th, take it to the dealership and have the glue removed then the fasteners installed.

Every car might have an issue, every automaker might have some kind of recall. Some because its not up to the NHTSA standards and they protect the consumers. Make sure you research and Ferrari will get a handle on this. Their consumers have the money to spend it anywhere they choose and you always got to love those Italians.
